Maintains focus on the expected outcomes.
Communicates barriers to key stakeholders, ensuring effective time management to build consensus and identify and address potential obstacles.
Demonstrate leadership abilities in collaborating with health care team(s).
Analyzes and utilizes feedback to improve processes.
Communicates clearly regarding opportunities relating to utilization, quality and risk management.
Prepares and presents educational programs to health care team(s) and management as needed.
Ensure guidelines are maintained with current documentation.
Collects outcomes data and communicates to key stakeholders.
Recommends policy and procedure changes to improve care and patient outcomes.
Maintains and enhances a variety of databases, statistics and reports.
Maintain current knowledge of regulatory requirements Education:
Nursing degree required.
BSN preferred.
Current Washington State RN License required.
CPHQ preferred.
Experience:
Minimum of three (3) years clinical experience in an acute care setting required.
Prior experience in quality assessment and improvement work preferred.
An equivalent combination of education and experience may be substituted.
