96 an hour The Cardiac/Stroke Coordinator (CSC) is a Registered Nurse who is responsible for monitoring and coordination all Stroke & Cardiac services and system elements to ensure an organized multidisciplinary team approach to quality of care of the Stroke and Cardiac patient.
This involvement begins with pre-hospital care and extends through and ends with patient discharge/rehab.
The CSC assures the delivery of comprehensive Stroke & Cardiac care throughout the coordination and provision of direct or indirect patient care.
This is accomplished through close contact with all aspects of care including personnel, procedures, and technical equipment.
The CSC promotes a multidisciplinary approach to Stroke & Cardiac care by establishment and maintenance of communication with all departments and individuals involved in the care of the Stroke & Cardiac patient.
The CSC works collaboratively with Department Managers/Directors to assure that policies and procedures which determine the patient flow promote a smooth transition for the Stroke and Cardiac patient as the patient moves through the hospital service areas.
This role will support the Cath Lab and SOU in a management role in the absence of the Director.
Provides oversight and clinical quality of coordinated stroke program and will support Cath Lab Director with managing data related to the PCI program.
Provides oversight and clinical quality of coordinated stroke program and will support SVH in coordination with the Cascade Valley Hospital (CVH) CSC regarding clinical quality of the Cardiac/STEMI program.
Facilitation and coordination with pre-hospital care of both cardiac and stroke programs at SVH.
Works effectively and cooperatively within the workplace.

Education:
BSN Required.
Must maintain education hours based on the requirements outlined by applicable regulatory agencies (e.
g.
DNV, etc.
) Experience/Training:
Minimum of three years' experience in Acute Care hospital with demonstrated leadership ability.
Knowledgeable of Washington State Stroke & Cardiac Care Services to include Get With the Guideline (GWTG) program.
License/Certifications:
Current Washington State RN Licensure required.
American Heart Association BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS required.
Other Skills:
Excellent interpersonal skills; excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to communicate effectively with patients, visitors, physicians, nursing personnel, and other health care professionals.
Effective leadership skills required.
Demonstrated emotional stability and maturity.
Demonstrated ability with Excel and the ability to abstract and collate data effectively.
Presentation skills.

Salary Range:
$44.
64/hr to $66.
96/hr DOE Skagit Regional Health offers a comprehensive benefit package including medical, dental, vision, 457b/401a (retirement), long term disability, and paid time off to all employees holding an FTE of 20 or more hours per week.
Eligible employees also receive sick time pay.
