0 Mount Vernon, WA Mount Vernon, WA Full-time Full-time $30 - $32 an hour $30 - $32 an hour 1 day ago 1 day ago 1 day ago The Resource Development Coordinator is a key member of our nonprofit team and is responsible for supporting a multi-faceted approach to the development and acquisition of resources to support the Agency's services to children, youth and families.
Position is hybrid, requiring some work from the office in Mount Vernon, WA, some remote, and some across multiple regions served by the agency.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor's degree in aligned field preferred Minimum 2 yearsrelevant experience; experience in non-profit sector preferred Strong oral, written communication and interpersonal skills Ability to relate well with others and effectively build and maintain donor/grantor relationships Position Description of Duties:
Leads and participates in a wide variety of Agency fundraising and promotional events and activities Works closely with the Executive and Program Directors on development needs as well as how to best represent programs in marketing and communications with the community, donors, volunteers, and partners.
Participates in community level events and activities to build relationships, resources and awareness of agency needs.
Develops community linkages and collaborative relationships for service acquisition, donations and volunteer support for Agency operations and program services.
Collaborates with Agency Management in the development and implementation of an annual resource development plan, including capital or other special campaigns.
Develops and maintains a variety of community public relations and informational activities to promote the agency and programs:
newsletters, targeted mailings, website & social media information.
Identifies sources of grant funding to support both program and Agency operations.
Completes and submits grant applications independently and in collaboration with Agency personnel.
Reporting Develops and maintains systems for tracking resource development activities and outcomes, including donor involvement, grants, and volunteer participation.
Tracks data and prepares documents for reporting to grant funders and similar entities as required.
Assists with data collection to support agency needs as directed.
Requires knowledge of:
Resources for fundraising and grant opportunities Philanthropy principles and best practices Program planning:
to design and implement a variety of resource development activities and monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of each.
Systems for collecting, tracking and reporting information and data Effective public communication/relations tools and methods Community resources for corporate giving, charitable gifts Donor outreach and engagement strategies General Consistently represents the agency and programs in a professional, ethical manner and that promotes a positive image of the agency and its programs.
Is responsive and timely to deadlines, inquiries and requests from professional agencies and the community at large.
Prepares correspondence related to resource development and Agency business operations, ie; thank you letters, emails, mailings, social media posts, reports.
Attends meetings/trainings as directed.
Assists with general Agency administration, operations.
Work will require routine local travel and occasional out-of- area travel.
Position may require occasional evening, weekend, holiday and overnight travel stays.

Manage a multitude of short and long term tasks simultaneously under specific timelines; to be flexible to adjust to Agency needs and priorities Develop and maintain organized systems for collecting and tracking data or use of grant software applications Read, interpret, analyze and integrate technical and/or directives into program systems and operations.
Communicate effectively in both oral and written format Consistently represent the agency and programs in a professional, ethical manner and that promotes a positive image of the agency and its programs.
