CT Technologist - Per Diem


Essential Functions:
Performs direct patient care, utilizing established policies, procedures and standards.
Administers contrast and IV's according to policy and procedure.
Accurately executes provider orders according to policies and procedures.
Performs indirect patient care, utilizing established procedures, policies, and standards.
Communicates pertinent information to the appropriate persons in a timely manner.
Performs accurate and timely documentation according to SVH guidelines.
Assists Radiologist in performing surgical procedures.
Adhere to ASRT and ARRT standards of practice.
Able to work independently and unsupervised and be available for regular emergency standby coverage off-hours and on weekends.
Availability to work at multiple locations.
Maintains a clean, neat, and safe environment for patients and staff according to policies and procedures.
Ensures that supplies and equipment necessary for patient care are stored in an organized and efficient manner.
Demonstrates correct and safe techniques in the use of equipment according to specific product information.
Follows appropriate procedures for obtaining and returning or cleaning/disposing of equipment and supplies.
Participates in economical utilization of supplies and ensures that equipment is maintained in a clean and safe manner. Adheres to Diagnostic Imaging policies.
Does not incur excessive overtime.
Complies with specific SVH policies and procedures concerning safety.
Assists patients, family members or other clients with concern and empathy; respects their confidentiality and privacy and communicates with them in a courteous and respectful manner.
Answers and refers telephone calls or other inquires to ensure accurate and timely communications are facilitated.
Identifies him/herself in a pleasant and positive manner.
License/Certification:
Current Washington State Radiologic Technologist license required.
Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) required. Computed Tomography (CT) Certification preferred.
CT certification required within 1 year of hire.
Current American Heart Association (AHA) Healthcare Provider BLS required.
Education:
High School diploma or GED required.
Successful completion of a formal Radiologic Technology training program.
Must maintain education hours based on the requirements outlined by applicable regulatory agencies (e.g. DNV, etc.).
Experience/Training:
Minimum one (1) year prior experience preferred.

Pay: $40.83 - $59.54 per hour

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
